Connecting Students to Their River

RIPPLES helps students experience the North Fork through hands-on activities, field experiences, and classroom visits. Whether we're exploring aquatic insects, demonstrating how a watershed works, or supporting a teacher's field trip, our goal is simple: help students build a connection to the river in their own backyard.

We partner with schools to enhance field trips through hands-on activities, river exploration, and watershed education. Also, we bring the river into your classroom with interactive lessons and demonstrations that introduce students to local waterways and conservation.

Every visit is different. We work with teachers and community partners to provide experiences that fit the age of the students, available time, and learning goals.
